The Jaguar C-Type won in 1951 and 1953 the 24-hours Le Mans race, which immortalized the name of Jaguar.
For its technology, the C-Type was based on the XK 120, but the chassis/body shell was constructed of a steel space frame with thin aluminium body panels.

The Heritage C-Type model 1953 presented here is a very exact rebuilt of the Jaguar C-Type that won Le Mans in 1953. The Heritage C-type was built under auspices of Jaguar Cars Ltd., and carries the original Jaguar badge.

Jaguar C-type by Heritage, year 1968. colour dark blue with a blue leather interior. This fantastic C-type recreation has known one cautious owner for the last eight years, the automobile is in superb (excellent+) condition and the car drives very impressive.
The Jaguar C-type is one of the most entertaining and thrilling motor cars ever conceived. With such small numbers produced (53) and pricing in the millions (if one for sale) it is not hard to imagine why good recreations are sought after. The Heritage C-type recreations are being built for many years now. These excellent cars are built under auspices of Jaguar and they may carry the Jaguar logo. This Heritage Jaguar C-type accelerates tremendously fast with it's 4.2 Litre straight six engine and three twin choke Weber carburettors. 230 bhp. and a weight of 1060 kg is a splendid recipe for loads of sheer driving fun!
